Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCS HAU), Hisar has invited applications for 4 Young Professional-II positions under the Department of Soil Science. The positions are purely project-based, and applications must reach the department on or before 26 December 2025.

Total Posts: 4 Young Professionals-II
Discipline-wise allocation:

• Soil Science – 2 Posts

• Agronomy – 1 Post

• Microbiology – 1 Post

Essential Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in the relevant discipline
  OR

• Graduate degree in Agricultural Sciences/Life Sciences (as applicable)

Emoluments

• Rs. 42,000 per month (fixed)

Project Details

• Title: Quality improvement and popularisation of fermented organic manures (FOM) for sustainable agriculture in Haryana

• Project Duration: Till October 2028

• Engagement: Initially for 1 year, extendable up to 3 years (one year at a time) based on performance and project requirements

Age Criteria

• 21 to 45 years (as on last date of application)

• Relaxation: 3 years for SC/BC candidates

Place of Posting

• Department of Soil Science, CCS HAU, Hisar

• Work may also involve field visits to:

  • Department of Microbiology

  • Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs)

  • Farmers’ fields across Haryana

• Walk-in Interview:
  29 December 2025 at 10:00 AM
  Venue: Office of the Director of Research, CCS HAU, Hisar

• Candidates must bring:

  • Original certificates

  • One set of self-attested copies

  • Application on plain paper in the prescribed format

No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

Important Terms

• Engagement is co-terminus with the project; no claim to regular university service

• One-month notice required for resignation

• Medical fitness certificate required at joining

• Selected candidates must join within 15 days of appointment order

• Full-time engagement; outside employment not allowed

• Agreement on ?15 non-judicial stamp paper to be executed before joining
