CDRI, Lucknow, invites applications for multiple project posts (online & walk-in) and 42 technical/support staff posts across various scientific and operational divisions. All project positions are purely temporary/contractual as per project or statutory recruitment norms as per the official notification, while technical positions are on a regular basis.

• Posts: 01

• Qualification: Master’s Degree/M.Pharm in Chemical Sciences/Pharmaceutical Chemistry with NET/GATE/National Exam.

• Stipend: Rs. 31,000 + 20% HRA

Essential Eligibility (General)

• Technical Assistant: B.Sc. 60% + 1-yr experience / professional qualification OR relevant higher degree.

• Technician-1: 10th + ITI OR 10th + 2-3 yrs relevant experience OR 3-yr diploma (as per post).

A. Technical Assistant (12 Posts) – Key Profiles

1. Life Sciences & Regulatory Toxicology – 3 Posts

• B.Sc. Life/Biological Sciences + relevant experience

• Work: Genomics, Proteomics, RT-PCR, cell culture, animal studies, GLP/NABL

2. Pharmaceutics & Pharmacokinetics – 1 Post

• B.Sc. (Chemistry) + experience in HPLC/LC-MS/MS, formulation, PK studies

3. Medicinal & Process Chemistry – 3 Posts

• B.Sc. Chemistry 60% OR M.Sc. Organic Chemistry

• Work: Synthetic chemistry, reaction monitoring, purification

4. S&T Management – 1 Post (PwBD-OH)

• B.Sc. + 1-yr experience in IPR/HR/Finance/Project Management

III. SELECTION PROCESS

For Project Positions

• Online mode: Shortlisting → Online/Offline Interview

• Walk-in mode: Direct interview (written test may be conducted if needed)

For Technical & Support Staff

1. Screening of applications

2. Trade Test (Qualifying)

3. Competitive Written Examination

   • Technical Assistant: 200 questions, 3 hours

   • Technician-1: 150 questions, 2.5 hours

   • Subject, mental ability, English, GA – with negative marking in select sections
