Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU), Kanpur, formerly known as Kanpur University, has released an official recruitment notification inviting online applications from eligible Indian nationals for teaching positions at various levels. The recruitment will be conducted as per UGC Regulations 2018, applicable statutory norms, and Uttar Pradesh State Government rules.

Recruitment is across multiple academic departments, including (but not limited to):

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Qualifications, experience, API/Research score, and pay levels shall be strictly as per:

  • UGC Regulations 2018

  • AICTE Regulations 2019 (where applicable)

  • PCI norms (for Pharmacy disciplines)

  • U.P. State Government rules

Candidates must ensure that they fulfil all essential qualifications before applying.
Experience and qualifications will be reckoned as on the last date of application submission.

Selection Procedure (Brief Overview)

Selection will be conducted as per Governor Secretariat Orders (U.P.) and UGC Regulations 2018, involving:

Assistant Professor

• Academic & API Score

• Written Test (objective, discipline-specific)

• Teaching Skill Assessment

• Interview

Associate Professor & Professor

• Academic & Research API Score

• Shortlisting

• Interview
  (Music discipline candidates must qualify a skill assessment test.)

• Foreign Ph.D. holders must submit AIU equivalence certificate, if applicable.
