Exam & selection overview

• Scheme: One-Tier Computer Based Examination (General) — 200 MCQs, 200 marks, 2 hours.

• Syllabus: General Awareness; General Intelligence & Reasoning; Arithmetical & Numerical Ability; Hindi Language & Comprehension; English Language & Comprehension (40 marks each).

• Negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong MCQ.

• Skill/Physical tests: May be required by user department if the post demands (e.g., endurance/skill/driving).

• Normalization: Scores may be normalized for multi-session exams. Draft answer keys will be published for objections.

Fees & exemptions

• Application fee: Rs. 100 (payable via SBI e-Pay).

• Exemptions: Women, SC, ST, PwBD & Ex-servicemen (subject to conditions) are exempt from the fee.

• Note: Fee once paid is non-refundable.

Important application rules & cautions
