IACS Kolkata Recruitment 2026: Apply online for Assistant & MTS (General) Posts till 15th May 2026
Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS), Kolkata – one of India's premier research institutes – has released an official notification for the recruitment of Assistant (Group B) and MTS (General) (Group C) posts on a direct recruitment basis. Eligible Indian citizens are invited to submit their applications in the prescribed format before the closing date.

1. Assistant (Group B)

Important Notes:

Fee must be paid via Demand Draft drawn on State Bank of India (SBI) only, in favor of "INDIAN ASSOCIATION FOR THE CULTIVATION OF SCIENCE", payable at Kolkata.

Selection Process
The selection process will consist of multiple stages as detailed below:
For Assistant (Group B)

For MTS (General) (Group C)
Computer Based Test (Class X Standard) – 50 marks

Cut-off marks will be decided by IACS.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the next stages.

Reservation

OBC (NCL) candidates must submit a valid NCL certificate issued after April 1, 2025, in the prescribed DoPT format along with the self-declaration (Annexure-III).

EWS candidates must submit an Income & Asset Certificate for FY 2026-27 (based on FY 2025-26 income) in the prescribed DoPT format (Annexure-IV).
