ICAR–CRRI Walk-in Interview 2025: RA-I & SRF Positions (10 December 2025)

ICAR – Central Rice Research Institute (CRRI), Cuttack, Odisha has announced a walk-in interview for the recruitment of Research Associate-I (RA-I) and Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under the project “NSF-DBT: TRTech-PGR: Developing robust prime editing systems in plant” (EAP-461).

Available Positions

Essential Qualifications

Research Associate-I (RA-I)

• Ph.D., OR

• M.Sc. in Agril. Biotechnology / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Botany / Biochemistry / Life Science / Bioinformatics

  • With 3 years research experience after Master’s degree

  • At least one SCI journal publication

Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

• PG Degree in Basic Science OR PG Degree in Professional Course selected through:
  a) CSIR-UGC NET / GATE, OR
  b) National examinations conducted by DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IITs, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc.

• Two years’ research experience in a relevant R&D institution/university as per the official notification.

• SRF: Biological Sciences, Botany, Biotechnology, Plant Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Agriculture

Age Limit (as on interview date)

• RA-I:

  • Men: Max 40 years

  • Women: Max 45 years

• SRF:

  • Men: Max 35 years

  • Women: Max 40 years
    (Reserved category relaxation as per Govt. norms)

Project Duration

Initially up to 31 March 2026, extendable up to August 2028.

No TA/DA is admissible. Candidates arriving after 10:00 AM (SRF) and 3:00 PM (RA-I) will not be allowed.
