1. ICAR IIOR JRF Recruitment 2025 (DUS Project)

Project Title:

DUS testing of Sunflower, Safflower and Castor
(Funded by Protection of Plant Varieties & Farmers’ Rights Authority – PPV&FRA)

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications

• M.Sc. (Agriculture) with specialization in:

  • Plant Genetics

  • Plant Breeding

  • Seed Technology

  • Agronomy

  • OR any relevant discipline in Agricultural Sciences

• Must possess 4/5-year Bachelor’s degree.

• Candidates with a 3-year bachelor’s degree must have valid NET qualification.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in:

  • Field work

  • Qualitative & quantitative data recording

  • Computer applications

Age Limit (as on 18.12.2025)

• Men: 21–35 years

• Women: 21–40 years

• Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PH as per rules.

Salary

• Rs. 37,000 per month + HRA

Other Details

• Posting initially at IIOR Hyderabad, but may be placed anywhere in India as per project requirement.

• No TA/DA or accommodation provided for attending the interview.

• Candidates must report between 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on the interview day for registration.

2. ICAR IIOR Field Assistants Recruitment 2025 (Farmer FIRST Programme)

Project Title:

Competitive oilseeds production technologies for improving profitability and socio-economic conditions of small holders in rainfed oilseeds production system of Telangana.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification

• Diploma in Agriculture (Regular stream only) from a State Agricultural University.

• Minimum 7.5 OGPA required.

Desirable Skills

• Working knowledge of computers

• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking Telugu

• Experience working with farmers/farmer groups

Nature of Work

• Working closely with farmers in adopted villages of Dharur Mandal, Vikarabad district

• Field Assistants must stay in the adopted villages during field activities

Age Limit (as on 16.12.2025)

• Men: 21–35 years

• Women: 21–40 years

• Age relaxation available for SC/ST/OBC/PH categories.

Salary

• Rs. 15,000 per month (Consolidated)

Important Instructions

• Candidates must carry all original certificates and one set of Xerox copies.

• Registration timing: 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM on 16 December 2025.

• If candidates exceed 20, a screening test may be conducted before the interview.

3. General Terms for Both Posts

• Positions are purely temporary, contractual, and co-terminus with the respective projects.

• No claim for regular appointment at ICAR-IIOR after project completion.

• Selection decision of the Director, IIOR, will be final.
