ICAR–NDRI Recruitment 2025 – Walk-in Interviews for SRF, JRF, YP-I, Project Scientist & Technical Support Posts

The ICAR – National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI), Karnal (Haryana), has announced walk-in interviews for several contractual research positions under various funded projects. All posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the respective projects.

Available Positions

1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 1 Post

   • Project: “Centre for Innovation to Foster Full Cycle Processing of Agriculture Waste to Wealth (DST)”

   • Emoluments: ?37,000 + HRA per month

   • Qualification: Postgraduate in Animal Nutrition / Biochemistry / Food Technology / Microbiology with NET or GATE qualification

   • Interview Date: 24 November 2025, 10:00 AM

2. Young Professional–I – 1 Post

   • Project: ICAR–NDRI Institute’s Fund (Microbiology Section)

   • Emoluments: ?30,000 per month (fixed)

   • Qualification: B.Tech in Dairy/Food Technology or B.Sc. in Microbiology/Life Sciences

   • Interview Date: 25 November 2025, 10:00 AM

3. Young Professional–I – 1 Post

   • Project: ICAR–NDRI Institute’s Fund (Chemistry Section)

   • Emoluments: ?30,000 per month (fixed)

   • Qualification: B.Tech in Dairy/Food Technology or B.Sc. in Chemistry/Biochemistry

   • Interview Date: 26 November 2025, 10:00 AM

4. Project Research Scientist–I (Non-Medical) – 1 Post

   • Project: “Preclinical and Clinical Evaluation of EPSKar-1-Iron Complex Enriched Fermented Dairy Product” (ICMR Funded)

   • Emoluments: ?56,000 + HRA per month

   • Qualification: Postgraduate degree (including Integrated PG) in Microbiology / Chemistry / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Life Sciences

   • Interview Date: 27 November 2025, 10:00 AM

5. Project Technical Support–I – 1 Post

   • Project: Same as above

   • Emoluments: ?18,000 + HRA per month

   • Qualification: Three-year graduate degree in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Chemistry / Zoology with 1-year experience

   • Interview Date: 28 November 2025, 10:00 AM

6. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – 2 Posts

   • Project: “Integration of Millets and Their Derivatives with Dairy and Non-Dairy Food Matrices for Improved Functionality (DST)”

   • Emoluments: ?42,000 + HRA per month

   • Qualification: Postgraduate in Basic Science or Graduate/Postgraduate in Dairy Technology, Dairy Chemistry, Dairy Microbiology, Food Technology, or related discipline with NET/GATE and 2 years’ research experience

   • Interview Date: 1 December 2025, 10:00 AM

• Report at least 30 minutes before the scheduled interview time.

• Bring original certificates, one set of self-attested copies, a typed bio-data, and passport-size photographs.
