ICAR–NISST Recruitment 2025: Interview call for 4 Young Professional-I Posts

ICAR – National Institute of Seed Science & Technology (NISST), Mau (Uttar Pradesh) has invited applications for 4 Young Professional-I (YP-I) positions on a purely contractual and time-bound basis. These positions are ideal for graduates in Agriculture and Life Sciences seeking hands-on research experience in seed science, biotechnology and laboratory-based analysis.

Total Vacancies

• Young Professional-I: 04 posts

• Engagement is contractual, initially for 1 year, extendable based on performance and project duration.

Essential Eligibility

Educational Qualification

• B.Sc. (Agriculture)
  OR

• Equivalent Life Sciences degree

Desirable Skills

• Research experience in:

  • Seed Science

  • Genetics

  • Plant Biotechnology

• Fluency in English

• Hands-on skills in:

  • Data recording

  • Physio-chemical analysis of soil/water/plant samples

  • Entomology / Pathology

  • Laboratory work and equipment handling

  • Data analysis & computer applications

Age Limit

• 21 to 45 years

• Relaxations applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-servicemen/Women as per Govt. of India rules.

Monthly Remuneration

• Rs. 30,000/- (Consolidated)

• Interview details (date, mode & venue) will be communicated only to shortlisted candidates through email.

• Document verification at the time of interview is mandatory.

• No TA/DA will be provided.
