Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhagalpur (IIIT Bhagalpur), an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, has invited applications for Guest Faculty and Adjunct Faculty positions across multiple departments. The engagement is purely temporary and based on academic requirements and performance.

Positions Open

1. Guest Faculty (Temporary – Initially One Semester)

Departments:

• Computer Science & Engineering

• Electronics & Communication Engineering

• Mechatronics & Automation Engineering

• Mathematics & Computing

Tenure: 1 semester, extendable up to 2 more semesters
Remuneration: Rs. 70,000 per month (consolidated)

Qualification:

• B.Tech, M.Tech & Ph.D. in the relevant discipline

• Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis may also apply

2. Adjunct Faculty (For Retired Professors/Associate Professors)

Departments:

• Computer Science & Engineering

• Electronics & Communication Engineering

• Mathematics & Computing

Tenure: Initially 1 year, extendable up to 2 more years or till age 70
Honorarium: Rs. 1,00,000 per month
Accommodation: May be provided inside campus on normal license fee (subject to availability)

Eligibility:

• Superannuated faculty from IITs/NITs/IIITs/Central or State Universities/CFIs

• Strong research portfolio with high-quality publications, sponsored research experience, supervision of M.Tech/Ph.D., involvement in conferences, editorial activities, patents/consultancy

• Preference for candidates with h-index ≥ 10 (Web of Science)
