MOIL Limited, a Schedule ‘A’ Miniratna Category-I Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Steel, Government of India, has released an official notification for Recruitment of Graduate Trainees (GT), Management Trainees (MT) and Manager (Survey). The recruitment aims to onboard young, dynamic professionals to support MOIL’s ambitious expansion plan of achieving 3.0 million tonnes manganese ore production by 2030.

Educational Qualifications

Graduate Trainees (GT)

• GT (Mines): B.E./B.Tech in Mining Engineering with minimum 60% marks. During probation, candidates must fulfill DGMS requirements for Mine Manager’s Certificate.

• GT (Mechanical): B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% marks.

• GT (Electrical): B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Power Engineering with minimum 60% marks.

• GT (Chemical): B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with minimum 60% marks.

• GT (Process):

  • Chemical – B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering

  • Metallurgy – B.E./B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering

  • Mineral Processing – M.Tech in Mineral Processing

• MT (Geology): Postgraduate degree in Geology / Applied Geology with minimum 60% marks.

Management Trainees (MT)

• Materials / Contract Management:
  Engineering Degree (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil) with 60% marks OR MBA / PG Diploma (2 years) in Production / Operations / Materials / Logistics / Supply Chain Management with 60% marks.

• Systems: BE/B.Tech in Computer Science / IT or MCA with minimum 60% marks.

• Personnel / Welfare: MSW (Labour Welfare/IR/Personnel Management) or MBA (HR/HRD) or PG Diploma in IRPM / Labour Studies with minimum 60% marks.

• Marketing: MBA (Marketing/Foreign Trade) or Engineering Graduate with PG Degree/Diploma in Marketing / Foreign Trade with minimum 60% marks.

Manager (Survey)

• Graduate from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks.

• Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted).

• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in underground mine surveying.

• Private sector candidates must have minimum CTC of 9.70 lakh per annum.

Pay Scale & Benefits

• Graduate Trainee / Management Trainee (Training Period):
  40,000 – 1,40,000 (E-1 Grade)

• After Successful Training / Regularization:
  50,000 – 1,60,000 (E-2 Grade)

• Manager (Survey):
  Direct appointment in E-2 Grade (50,000 – 1,60,000)

In addition to Basic Pay, selected candidates are entitled to DA, HRA, cafeteria-based allowances, Performance Related Pay (PRP), medical benefits, CPF, gratuity, superannuation scheme and other admissible benefits as per company rules.

Selection Process

1. Computer Based Online Test (CBT)

   • Duration: 90 minutes

   • General Knowledge, Reasoning & English: 30 marks

   • Subject Knowledge: 55 marks

2. Personal Interview – 15 marks

3. Document Verification & Pre-Employment Medical Examination

Final merit list will be prepared based on combined marks of CBT and Personal Interview.

Age Limit (as on 20 January 2026)

• Graduate Trainee / Management Trainee: 30 years

• Manager (Survey): 35 years

Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC (NCL), PwBD and Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India rules. Maximum age after all relaxations shall not exceed 53 years.

Application Fee

• UR / EWS / OBC: 590 (including GST)

• SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen / MOIL Employees: Nil
