Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited (MPPGCL), a wholly owned undertaking of the MP Government, has invited online applications for 90 regular posts of Plant Assistants for operation and maintenance work in its thermal and hydropower stations.

Educational Qualifications

Plant Assistant (Mechanical)

• High School (10th) from a recognized board

• Regular ITI (SCVT/NCVT) in one of the following trades:
  Machinist / Fitter / Turner / HP Mechanic / Mechanic Pump / Mechanic Vehicle / Motor Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic

• Minimum required marks:

  • UR & OBC (MP domicile): 65%

  • Regular employees of MPSEB successor companies: 60%

  • SC/ST/EWS/PwD (MP domicile): 55%

Plant Assistant (Electrical)

• High School (10th) from a recognized board

• Regular ITI (SCVT/NCVT) in:
  Electrician / Wireman / Electronics / Information Technology

• Equivalent 2-year State Trade Certificate (CoE scheme) from ITIs in Namdanagar, Shahdol, Ratlam, Rampura also accepted

• Minimum marks criteria same as Mechanical

Selection Process

Recruitment will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT):

• 100 MCQs, 1 mark each

• No negative marking

• 75 questions: Technical (subject-specific)

• 25 questions: General knowledge, aptitude, reasoning

• Paper language: Hindi & English (bilingual)

Age Limit

• Minimum: 18 years

• Maximum: 40 years
  (Additional relaxations as per MP Govt. norms)

Training, Salary & Bond

• Training Period: 9 months

• Pay Scale: Rs. 25,300 – Rs. 80,500 (Level-6)

• Probation: 3 years

• Employment Bond:

  • General: Rs. 2,00,000

  • SC/ST/OBC/EWS: Rs. 1,00,000
