National Institute of Design (NID), Assam, an Institution of National Importance under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, has invited online applications for faculty positions (Group A – Teaching) on a long-term basis.

• Professor (Level 13): Rs. 1,23,100 – 2,15,900
  (Approx. Gross: Rs. 2.52 lakh/month)

• Associate Professor (Level 12): Rs. 78,800 – 2,09,200
  (Approx. Gross: Rs. 1.63 lakh/month)

• Assistant Professor (Level 11): Rs. 67,700 – 2,08,700
  (Approx. Gross: Rs. 1.40 lakh/month)

• Faculty/Designer (Level 10): Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500

Essential Eligibility (At a Glance)

Professor (Principal Designer)

• PG Degree / PG Diploma in Design

• Minimum 10 years experience

• Age: Not exceeding 55 years

Associate Professor (Senior Designer)

• PG Degree / PG Diploma in Design

• Minimum 10 years experience

• Age: Not exceeding 50 years

Assistant Professor (Associate Senior Designer)

• PG Degree / PG Diploma in Design

• Minimum 7 years experience

• Age: Not exceeding 50 years

Faculty / Designer

• Degree / Diploma in Design

• Minimum 5 years experience

• Age: Not exceeding 45 years

(PhD in Design and strong academic/industry portfolio are desirable for higher posts.)
