PNB Recruitment 2025: 750 Local Bank Officers – Apply Online

Punjab National Bank (PNB) has released a recruitment notification for 750 Local Bank Officer (LBO) posts in the JMGS-I scale. Eligible candidates can apply online from 03 November 2025 to 23 November 2025. The posts are state-wise, and candidates must apply for one state only as the merit list and posting will be state-specific.

• Tentative exam date: Dec 2025 / Jan 2026

Vacancies

• Total Posts: 750 Local Bank Officers (Scale I)
• State-wise vacancies released with mandatory language proficiency (e.g., Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, etc.)

Eligibility

• Age: 20–30 years (as on 01.07.2025)
• Education: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university
• Experience: Minimum 1 year post-graduation experience in a Clerical/Officer role in a Scheduled Bank/RRB
• Local Language: Reading, writing & speaking proficiency in the state's specified language is mandatory

Selection Process

The recruitment will include:

1. Online Written Test
2. Screening of documents
3. Local language proficiency test (if applicable)
4. Personal Interview

Bond & Posting

• Selected candidates must serve a minimum of 3 years or pay a Rs. 2 lakh bond if leaving early
• Posting will remain within the selected state for 9 years or till promotion

• Rs. 59 for SC/ST/PwBD
• Rs. 1180 for others
