Overview

The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Ayush, invites applications from qualified candidates for Faculty positions at its New Delhi and Goa campuses.
Positions are available at Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor levels across various Ayurvedic disciplines. Recruitment will be through Direct Recruitment or Deputation as specified.

Essential Qualifications (Direct Recruitment)

1. Professor

  • BAMS degree recognized under IMCC Act 1970/NCISM Act 2020.

  • MD/MS (Ay.) in concerned subject.

  • Ph.D. in concerned subject.

  • 14 years of full-time PG teaching/research experience.

  • Minimum 10 research papers in UGC CARE listed journals.

2. Additional Professor

  • BAMS + MD/MS (Ay.) in concerned subject.

  • 10 years of full-time PG teaching/research experience.

  • Minimum 8 research papers in UGC CARE listed journals.

3. Associate Professor

  • BAMS + MD/MS (Ay.) in concerned subject.

  • 6 years of full-time PG teaching/research experience.

  • Minimum 5 research papers in UGC CARE listed journals.

4. Assistant Professor

  • BAMS + MD/MS (Ay.) in concerned subject.

  • 3 years of full-time PG teaching/research experience.

  • Minimum 3 research papers in UGC CARE listed journals.

*(For Research Methodology post: PG in Biostatistics or MD/MS with 6 years’ teaching experience in Research Methodology.)*

For Assistant Professor cum Medical Specialist:

  • MBBS + MD in Medicine (General Medicine) + 3 years’ teaching/research experience.

Age Limit (as on closing date)

  • Professor & Additional Professor: Not exceeding 55 years (Direct), 58 years (Deputation)

  • Associate Professor: Not exceeding 50 years (Direct), 58 years (Deputation)

  • Assistant Professor: Not exceeding 45 years (Direct), 58 years (Deputation)

Age Relaxation: As per Govt. norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen.

    • Rs. 2000 for General/OBC/EWS
