• Assistant Registrar (Academic/Establishment) (Post Code: AR-03) – Direct Recruitment

3. Teaching Positions

• Associate Professor (Pay Level 13A) – 29 posts across disciplines including:

  • Agricultural Economics, Engineering, Extension, Agronomy, Aquaculture, Veterinary Sciences, Plant Pathology, Soil Science, and many more.

• Assistant Professor (Pay Level 10A) – 41 posts in various specializations such as:

  • Agricultural Sciences, Forestry, Veterinary Medicine, Plant Protection, English, and more.

Eligibility Highlights

For Registrar:

• Master’s degree with 55% marks.

• 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor (AGP ?7000+) or 8 years as Associate Professor (AGP ?8000+).

• Age preferably below 57 years.

• Tenure: 5 years or up to age 62.

For Dean, Veterinary & Animal Science:

• Recognized veterinary qualification (BVSc & AH with 55%).

• Master’s and PhD in relevant discipline.

• 15 years teaching/research experience, including 5 years as Professor.

• Age preferably below 57 years.

For Associate Professor:

• PhD in relevant subject.

• 8 years of experience in teaching/research/extension.

• Age preferably below 47 years.

For Assistant Professor:

• Master’s degree with 60% marks + ICAR NET qualification OR PhD with 2 published research papers (NAAS rating >4.0).

• Age preferably below 40 years (relaxation applicable).

Selection Process

• Screening based on scorecard (details provided in advertisement).

• Shortlisting ratio up to 1:20, minimum 1:3.

• Weightage:

  • Associate Professor & above: 70% scorecard + 30% interview

  • Assistant Professor: 80% scorecard + 20% interview

• Interview call letters will be sent via email only.
