Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University (SDSUV), Badshahithaul, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, has released multiple recruitment notifications for the appointment of Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, and Assistant Librarians. These are regular teaching and academic positions in various departments of the university.

The recruitment is being conducted as per the UGC (Minimum Qualification for Appointment of Teachers and others Academic Staff in the Universities and Colleges and other Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education) Regulation, 2018.

Reservation Guidelines

• SC / ST / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / EWS / PWD reservations are applicable as per Uttarakhand State Government norms.

• Only domiciles of Uttarakhand State are eligible for reservation benefits under SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories.

• For PWD category, disability must be 40% or more, supported by a valid Disability Certificate.

Screening and Shortlisting

• For Assistant Professor: Screening is based on a 100-point scale covering academic records, NET/SLET/SET qualifications, research publications, teaching/post-doctoral experience, and awards.

• For Associate Professor & Professor: Screening is based on a research score calculated as per UGC guidelines. Minimum required research scores are 75 for Associate Professor and 120 for Professor.

• Marks obtained in screening are used only for shortlisting and do not carry weightage in the final interview.

Key Notes for Candidates

• Result-awaited candidates are not eligible.

• Publications "under submission" will not be considered for scoring.

• Foreign Ph.D. holders must submit an Equivalence Certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.

• Candidates from Non-Government organizations must submit Form-16 to verify claimed experience.

• No Objection Certificate (NOC) is required for candidates serving in Government/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies.

• No TA/DA will be paid for attending interviews.
