Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, has announced multiple recruitment notifications for Group ‘A’ (S&T & Non-S&T), Group ‘B’, Group ‘C’ positions, along with a senior-level contractual vacancy for Chief Operating Officer (COO).

  • Nature of Appointment: Contractual (Co-terminus with project/CoE; renewable based on performance)

  • Work Location: Bhubaneswar (Emerging Technologies CoE – EmTek)

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

  • Less than 45 years (age relaxation may be considered for suitable candidates)

Educational Qualification

  • Essential:

    • B.Tech / BE or equivalent

    • OR M.Tech / M.E / M.Sc from a recognized institute

  • Desirable:

    • MBA (Full-time or Part-time)

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of overall experience in:

    • IT industry / startup ecosystem

    • As Founder / Co-founder / CXO

    • Or as a senior leader in incubators, accelerators, innovation hubs, entrepreneurship centres

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop vision, strategy, and business model for the Centre of Excellence

  • Lead incubation and acceleration programs

  • Build partnerships with government, industry, academia, VCs, and startups

  • Drive innovation, commercialization, and ecosystem development

  • Oversee budgets, operations, compliance, and sustainability

  • Mentor startups and manage stakeholder relationships

Compensation

  • Rs. 1,50,000 per month

  • Higher compensation may be offered to deserving candidates

Selection Process (COO)
