CSIR–Advanced Materials and Processes Research Institute (AMPRI), Bhopal has announced recruitment for Scientist (Level-11) and Senior Scientist (Level-12) positions under Advertisement No. RECT-03/2025. Total Vacancies

• Scientist: 17 posts

Pay Level

• Scientist (Level 11): Approx. Rs. 1,26,900 per month (inclusive of allowances)

• Senior Scientist (Level 12): Approx. Rs. 1,46,770 per month (inclusive of allowances)

Upper Age Limit

• Scientist: 32 years

• Senior Scientist: 37 years

Essential Qualifications (Summary)

Depending on the postcode, eligibility includes:

• M.E./M.Tech. in relevant fields such as Materials Science, Metallurgy, Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing, Computer Science, AI/Data Science, Electronics, Civil, Environmental Engineering, Nanotechnology, Mechatronics, Robotics, Polymer Science, etc.

• OR Ph.D. (submitted/awarded) in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, Nanotechnology, Quantum Materials, Hydrogen Energy, Bioresource valorization, and other related disciplines.

Different posts emphasize expertise in areas such as:

• Additive manufacturing, advanced alloys, high-performance magnets

• AI/ML for materials modeling and digital twins

• Sensors and instrumentation

• Quantum materials and devices

• Hydrogen energy and nanomaterials

• Waste-to-material conversion processes

• Sustainable polymers and energy storage materials

• Biomass valorization and carbon materials

Job Responsibilities (General Overview)

All Scientist/Senior Scientist roles involve:
