CSIR-IICT Walk-In Interview 2025: Project Associate, Senior Project Associate & Research Positions

The CSIR–Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR-IICT), Hyderabad, a premier research laboratory under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), has announced walk-in interviews for a large number of project-based research and technical positions. These engagements are purely temporary and are available under various sponsored and mission-mode projects of the institute.

Eligible and interested candidates may appear directly for the walk-in interview as per the schedule mentioned below.

Emoluments (Monthly)

• Principal Project Associate: Rs. 49,000 + HRA

• Senior Project Associate: Rs. 42,000 + HRA

• Senior Research Fellow (Project): Rs. 35,000 + HRA

• Project Associate-I: Rs. 25,000 / Rs. 31,000 + HRA (depending on NET/GATE)

• Project Associate-II: Rs. 28,000 / Rs. 35,000 + HRA (depending on eligibility)

• Project Assistant-II: Rs. 20,000 + HRA

Upper Age Limit

• 35 years: Project Assistant / Project Associate / SRF

• 40 years: Senior Project Associate / Principal Project Associate

Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PwBD candidates as per Government of India & CSIR norms
Age will be calculated as on the date of interview

Essential Eligibility

• Relevant Bachelor’s / Master’s / M.Tech / Ph.D. qualification as prescribed for each post

• Required post-qualification research or industry experience, wherever applicable

• NET / GATE qualification required for higher fellowship-linked emoluments

• Candidates must have completed the essential qualification (final-semester/result-awaited candidates are not eligible)

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on walk-in interview

• Skill test may be conducted for suitable posts

• Final selection depends on performance, eligibility and project requirements

Important Conditions

• Engagement is purely temporary and initially up to six months, extendable based on performance and project duration

• Candidates who have already completed 6 years or more in CSIR project positions are not eligible

• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview

• Original certificates must be produced for verification
