ECIL Recruitment 2025: Apply online for Project Engineer, Technical Officer, Technical Expert & Assistant Project Engineer Vacancies

Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), a premier Government of India Public Sector Enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy, has announced recruitment for various project positions on a fixed-tenure contract basis. The positions will support important national projects across North, East, West, and South Zones, as well as specialised roles at Hyderabad.

The initial contract period varies from 6 months to 1 year, extendable up to 2–4 years depending on the post, project requirements, and performance.

1. Posts & Vacancies (Combined Across Both Notifications)

ECIL has opened recruitment for the following contract posts:

• Project Engineer on Contract (PE-C)

• Technical Officer on Contract (TO-C)

• Assistant Project Engineer on Contract (APE-C)

• Technical Expert on Contract (TE-C) (specialist roles)

These positions are distributed across:

• North Zone: New Delhi, Allahabad, Rawatbhata, Amritsar

• East Zone: Lunglei

• West Zone: Mumbai

• South Zone: Kudankulam

• Hyderabad: Specialist SAP & domain-specific roles

Each zone includes category-wise functional roles such as Security Systems, IT & Networking, Software Development, CAD, Industrial Safety, NDT Level-II, Welding/Testing, Electronics Systems, and more.

2. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• PE-C / TO-C: BE/B.Tech with minimum 60% marks

• APE-C: Diploma with minimum 60% marks

• TE-C: BE/B.Tech with relevant experience in high-end domains

• Relaxation applies for reserved categories as per government norms

Note: Apprenticeship training up to 1 year is treated as valid post-qualification experience.

Experience Requirement

• Project Engineer (PE-C): Minimum 3 years

• Technical Officer (TO-C): Minimum 1 year

• Assistant Project Engineer (APE-C): Minimum 1 year

• Technical Expert (TE-C): Domain-specific experience as required
  Experience must relate to the functional area of the post.

Age Limits (UR Category)

• PE-C: 33 years

• TO-C / APE-C: 30 years

• TE-C: As per role requirements
  Age relaxations for OBC/SC/ST/PwBD/J&K domicile candidates apply as per rules.

3. Salary & Benefits (Revised & Consolidated)

Project Engineer on Contract (PE-C)

Zonal posts (tenure extendable up to 4 years):

• Rs. 40,000 per month (1st year)

• Rs. 45,000 (2nd year)

• Rs. 50,000 (3rd year)

• Rs. 55,000 (4th year)

• One-time attire allowance of Rs. 8,400 after 6 months

Hyderabad specialist posts (initial 1 year, extendable to 2 years):

• Rs. 40,000 per month (1st year)

• Rs. 45,000 (2nd year)

Technical Expert on Contract (TE-C) (Hyderabad specialist positions)

• Rs. 1,25,000 per month

• Tenure: Typically 6 months (extendable based on project needs)

Technical Officer on Contract (TO-C)

• Rs. 25,000 per month (1st year)

• Rs. 28,000 (2nd year)

• Rs. 31,000 (3rd & 4th years)

Assistant Project Engineer on Contract (APE-C)

• Rs. 25,506 per month

• Revised every 6 months as per Central Labour Committee norms

4. Selection Process

Selection consists of:

Final Merit Score = Qualification (20%) + Experience (30 marks) + Interview (50 marks)

6. Important Instructions

• Candidates may apply for only one post category.

• Must be willing to work anywhere in India based on project needs.

• OBC (NCL) certificate must be less than 1 year old.
