IPFT Recruitment 2025: Walk-In-Interview for Project Manager, Project Associate, Assistants & Young Professional

Institute of Pesticide Formulation Technology (IPFT), Gurugram—an autonomous institute under the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers—invites eligible Indian nationals to attend a Walk-In-Interview for engagement on temporary / contractual / co-terminus basis under various externally funded and in-house projects.

• Reporting Time: 10:00 AM onwards

• Venue: IPFT, Sector-20, Udyog Vihar, NH-8, Gurugram (Haryana)

Vacancy Details & Eligibility

1. Project Manager – 01 Post

• Qualification:

  • Ph.D. in Microbiology / Biotechnology
    OR

  • M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering / Technology with specialization in Biotechnology / Microbiology

• Experience: Minimum 20 years in biopesticides R&D, process development, industrial fermentation, upstream & downstream processing

• Desirable: Experience in setting up pilot-scale biopesticide facilities, BSL-2 labs, microbial fermentation plants

• Remuneration: Rs. 1,25,000 per month (Consolidated)

• Upper Age Limit: 45 years

2. Project Associate-I – 02 Posts

• Qualification: Master’s Degree in Agricultural Chemicals / Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry / Natural Product Chemistry / Environmental Science

• Remuneration:

  • Rs. 31,000 + HRA (for NET/GATE or national-level exam qualified candidates)

  • Rs. 25,000 + HRA (for others)

• Upper Age Limit: 35 years

3. Assistant (Administration) – 01 Post

• Qualification: Graduate

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in administrative/secretarial work in the Government or reputed private organisations

• Skills: MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint

• Remuneration: Rs. 30,000 per month (Consolidated)

• Upper Age Limit: 35 years

4. Assistant (Purchase) – 01 Post

• Qualification: Graduate

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in Purchase/Admin section

• Desirable: Experience in Government procurement through GeM Portal

• Remuneration: Rs. 30,000 per month (Consolidated)

• Upper Age Limit: 35 years

5. Young Professional-I – 01 Post

• Qualification: B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Agriculture) with Chemistry as one subject

• Desirable: Experience in pesticide and residue analysis

• Remuneration: Rs. 30,000 per month (Consolidated)

• Upper Age Limit: 45 years

Tenure & General Conditions

• All positions are purely temporary and contractual

• Initial tenure: 1 year, extendable based on performance and project requirement

• Engagement will be co-terminus with the project

• No claim for regular appointment or absorption

• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview

• Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India norms
