NERIST Recruitment 2025 – Apply for 78 Non-Teaching Posts 

North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST), Nirjuli, Itanagar — a Deemed-to-be University under the Ministry of Education — has announced recruitment for a wide range of non-teaching positions under Advertisement No. 02/2025. The institute invites applications from eligible candidates for 78 vacancies across administrative, technical, and support cadres.

Pay Levels (Indicative)

• Deputy Registrar: Pay Matrix Level-12

• Sports Officer / Nurse: Level-6

• Lab/Technical Assistants / Computer Programmer: Level-5

• Technicians / UDC / Stenographers / LDC / Drivers / Skilled Workers: Levels-2 to-4 (post-wise)

Eligibility

• Educational qualifications and experience requirements vary by post — ranging from Master’s degree with administrative experience, engineering degree/diploma, ITI/NTC, to 10th pass with relevant skills for certain technical/support posts as per official notification.

• Age limits vary by role: generally up to 30 years for most posts and up to 50 years for senior positions such as Deputy Registrar.

• Relaxations apply as per Government norms.

Selection Process

• Written examination for eligible candidates.

• Skill/proficiency tests for posts requiring technical or operational abilities.

• Final selection will be based on performance in written and/or skill tests.

• Admit cards, shortlists, and updates will be published on the NERIST website.

How to Apply

• Candidates must submit applications through Registered/Speed Post only.

• The prescribed application form can be downloaded from the NERIST website.

• Applicants must attach self-attested certificates, required documents, three passport photographs, and the applicable Demand Draft.

• The envelope must be clearly superscribed with the name of the post applied for.

Application Fee

• Rs. 500 for General/OBC candidates

• Rs. 200 for SC/ST candidates

• Fee to be paid via Demand Draft in favour of Director, NERIST, payable at SBI Nirjuli.

Last Date

Completed applications must reach NERIST on or before 07 January 2026 via Registered/Speed Post. Applications received late or incomplete will be rejected.
