Specializations mentioned are indicative. Candidates with allied or closely related specializations may also apply. Final suitability will be decided by the selection committee.

Eligibility

Eligibility for all teaching posts will be governed by UGC Regulations 2018 and Government of West Bengal norms.

Assistant Professor

• Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks in relevant/allied subject

• NET / SET / SLET qualified, or eligible for exemption as per UGC rules

• PhD holders may be exempted from NET as per norms

Associate Professor

• PhD in relevant/allied discipline

• Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience

• At least 7 research publications

• Prescribed API/Research score

Professor

• PhD in relevant/allied discipline

• Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience

• At least 10 quality research publications

• Prescribed API/Research score

Experience and academic score will be calculated as per applicable rules.

Pay Scale

• Professor: Academic Level 14 (1,44,200 – 2,18,200)

• Associate Professor: Academic Level 13A

• Assistant Professor: Academic Level 10

Allowances will be applicable as per state government rules.

  • EWS / SC / ST: 500

• Assistant Professor

  • UR / OBC: 1000

  • EWS / SC / ST: 250

Fee must be paid online only.
No fee exemption for SC/ST candidates of other states.
